Testimonials

"I have known the manager of the home and staff team for a short time and during this time I feel I have developed a positive working relationship with the team, and we are all working together to safeguard the young person in the home to the best of his abilities. I have observed the staff team to have developed a good relationship with the young person; they are respectful towards the young person and have shown they’re caring and have his best interests at heart. The manager in particular has advocated on behalf of the young person when he was excluded from school and has never given up on him when they have experienced challenges such as the young person bringing back knives and items that do not belong to him or when he has been arrested on 2 occasions. They have shown genuine care and consistency which has created a sense of safety to the young person. The staff are approachable, and they encourage the young person to learn life skills and are preparing him for his independent living. They support him to achieve his personal goals. The staff appear to manage conflicts and emotions well with empathy and patience. The staff / manager attends all the meetings including care plan meetings, pep reviews and child in care review. They allow the young person to have a choice and express his wishes and feelings. I feel the staff keep the young person safe as best as they can, implementing safety plans and following protocols well.” – Social Worker

"We just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to the member of staff that supported K yesterday at sports day - not only for cheering him on and supporting him but for stepping up and running in the female adults (or "mums" race) to represent him. To say K was proud would not do it justice!"
